Actually, it looks like the camera is remarkably light sensitive to me. The picture was obviously taken at night, yet I see no graininess at all in the foreground and very minimal graininess in the background where there was very little light available. A flash would not have improved the picture because flash would not add significantly to the illumination of objects that far away from the camera.

Your dig cam seems to be a tad light unsensitive. Ie, too grainy; sorry :(
